Shot from the temporary 'infobox' in
the center of Berlin's redevelopment
of the Potsdamer Platz in the 1990s.
While Berlin was divided, Potsdamer
Platz was a wasteland of cold war
military barriers. Now it will become
the shiniest and newest commercial
center in Berlin and perhaps all of
Europe. After shooting this photo
I scanned the horizon and counted
over 100 cranes.
